What is FFLAssist?
FFLAssist is a cloud-based ATF and state compliance and business management platform built on Microsoft Business Central specifically for Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders. It also helps dealers streamline inventory, sales, and customer records while staying audit-ready. The software automates compliance tasks as well as essential ERP features so you can focus on running your business.
How does FFLAssist help with ATF compliance?
The platform automatically manages your A&D records, 4473s, and NFA transactions. and ATF reporting requirements. It reduces manual errors that often lead to violations during inspections. With built-in compliance tools, you stay aligned with ATF regulations effortlessly.
Can I use FFLAssist for multiple locations?
Yes, FFLAssist is designed to handle single-store operations as well as multi-location businesses. You can track sales, inventory, and compliance records across all stores in one platform. This ensures consistent reporting and control. Inventory replenishment planning can occur for a single location or across your entire business structure.
Is my data secure with FFLAssist?
Absolutely! FFLAssist is hosted in secure, U.S.-based cloud servers with multi-factor authentication and nightly backups. Your sensitive business and compliance data remain protected at all times. Security and reliability are our top priorities.
Do I need technical expertise to use FFLAssist?
Not at all. The platform is designed to be user-friendly for firearms dealers of all sizes. And if you are not an accountant, you are in luck, as your subscription comes delivered with an accounting "Starter Pack", with a complete chart of accounts, balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. Setup and onboarding are simple, with guided support available. Plus, you can consult experts if you need hands-on help.

Do I need QuickBooks or another accounting tool?
No — FFLAssist is a full ERP application and as such, accounting, supply chain, inventory control and warehousing are native. You can even allow your CPA remote access when needed.
How do ATF backups work?
Microsoft backs up the entire database nightly. In addition, ATF-specific data can be exported on-demand as password-protected files.
Can multiple staff use the system simultaneously?
Yes. Role-based access (Admin vs Staff) supports concurrent named users, with activity logs and restricted permissions for sensitive actions.
What payment processors are supported?
FFLAssist is integrated with the #1 payment gateway for gun retailers, EBiz Charge, along with a varying list of Ingenico credit card readers...perfect for gun shows.
Does it work at gun shows or offline?
Yes. FFLAssist was built from the ground up with the gun show retailer in mind. Simply connect to the event's Wi-Fi or connect to your own secure hot-spot and you are ready to go.

What do I need to get started with FFLAssist?
To begin, you’ll need a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer with internet access, along with a primary subscription to FFLAssist for the business owner and secondary subscriptions for each staff member who will use the system. These are "named" users, so upon signing up, the business owner will need to supply email addresses of each staff member who will use the system. Our team is here to help with any setup questions.
Can I use FFLAssist for gun shows and events?
Yes, FFLAssist was built for gun shows. You only need a laptop or tablet, a credit card reader, and the event’s Wi-Fi (or your own hotspot) to process transactions and update records on-site.
Is there a training program to help me get familiar with FFLAssist?
Absolutely! We offer tutorials, video guides, and live training sessions to ensure you’re confident using FFLAssist and all its features.
What devices, operating systems, browsers, and optional hardware are recommended or supported for using FFLAssist?
FFLAssist is cloud-based and works on most modern devices, including laptops, tablets, and desktops. It’s compatible with popular browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, and Windows' native browser, Edge. We suggest that the laptops, tablets, or desktops run the Windows operating system, preferably Windows 11. Optional devices include: 1) a USB/Bluetooth barcode scanner if you want to scan gun serial numbers, 2) one of the Ingenico credit card readers recommended by EBiz Charge, if you intend to use EBiz Charge as your payment gateway, and 3) The Plustek MobileOffice D620 photo ID scanner if you want to scan and embed customer drivers' licenses into the database, This scanner is available on Amazon. If you intend to work gun shows, you do NOT need a printer, as all 4473s are digital, unless you absolutely need to print them.
