Getting Started With FFLAssist

To begin, you’ll need a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer running the Windows operating system, internet access, along with a subscription to FFLAssist. Our team is here to help with any setup questions.

Absolutely! Our founder is a gun show FFL, so FFLAssist is designed with the gun show dealer in mind. You only need a laptop or tablet, a credit card reader, and the event’s Wi-Fi to process transactions and update records on-site.

There is no need to set up your A&D book, as the system does that for you automatically. As you receive firearms into FFLAssist, it automatically generates acquisition records. As you sell firearms, it automatically creates disposition records, updating your A&D Bound Book in real time.

We value customer input and encourage feedback and suggestions for future enhancements. Our goal is to ensure FFLAssist remains the best-integrated 4473 and Bound Book management system on the market. Every software application goes through periodic updates. FFLAssist does as well, but the FFLAssist staff takes care of updates for you.

Absolutely! We offer tutorials, video guides, and live training sessions to ensure you’re confident using FFLAssist and all its features.

FFLAssist is cloud-based and works on most modern devices, including laptops, tablets, and desktops. It’s compatible with popular browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

We’re happy to help! Contact us directly via the Contact page, and we’ll provide the answers you need. If you are not successful in running your retail firearms business with FFLAssist, then we are not successful.

FFLAssist is designed to keep you compliant by guiding you through Form 4473 completion, automatically updating your A&D Bound Book, and flagging potential issues before certification. FFLAssist compliance has been configured with a series of checkboxes for compliance issues. For example, if Congress passes a law removing suppressors from the NFA, simply uncheck the “Suppressors” checkbox in compliance setup, and the system no longer checks for that compliance issue.
