Multiple A&D Books

A&d Book 2

Some FFLs desire to keep multiple A&D Books to separate items in their personal collection and NFA items from the rest of their normal inventory. Some even go so far as to separate lost and stolen firearms as an additional book. but with FFLAssist, multiple books or the need for multiple books are a thing of the past.

Rather, with FFLAssist’s tight integration, users simply select a few options when the report is executed, such as “Lost/Stolen Only”, “Personal Collection Only”, and “NFA Items Only”. These are simple checkboxes. If checked, the report will filter for only what has been checked.

As an example, let’s suppose your A&D book contains 200 entries, but one of them was reported as lost. If you check “Lost/Stolen Only”, the report will only print the singular gun that was reported as lost. It will filter out the remaining 199 entries. If you leave the “Lost/Stolen Only” field unchecked, the lost/stolen firearm will be combined with the other 200 entries. The difference is that all lost or stolen firearms are printed in red to differentiate that singular entry from the other entries.

And because purchase receipts automatically create acquisition entries and sales invoices automatically create disposition entries, there is nothing for you to do manually.
